With Love, Lesley & Chris
Rocketship Tricycle Records (RTR), is an independent record label established in 2000, for musicians, Lesley Lishman and Christopher Prewitt. Like many performing artists today, independent production and distribution is the artist’s path forward in order to keep doing what they love and do best. Independent labels also help artists avoid roadblocks to sharing their work with a wider audience.
BANDS: Cam & Chris, Lishman, Prewitt & King, The Beaux Tones, Earnest Johnson, Lishman & Prewitt, and Trio Rio
RTR’s Favorite Recording Studios: TopHat Recording, Austin, Texas (now located in Knoxville, TN), and Yellow Dog Studios, Wimberley, Texas. All works digitally mastered by Terra Nova Digital Audio, Inc., in Austin, Texas, to ensure excellent sound quality and the finest music products possible.

Toltec Tarot Tunes, Lesley Lishman ©2008.
I met HeatherAsh Amara in 2005, when she magically moved in down the street from me. It was as if a great gift from the Universe had dropped from the sky. Through my experiences as a SpiritWeaver Apprentice and Spiritual Integrity Program student over the course of the next three years, I arrived at the biggest challenge of my musical career – a ‘little voice’ Inspiration spun from a lightning bolt – to set the beautiful poems of her book, Toltec Tarot to music! With HeatherAsh’s blessing, the Toltec Tarot Tunes were born in the summer of 2008.
Twenty-two ‘card-songs’ were created on the spot. All were recorded live with no prior reading of the poems, rehearsal or prior thought of what to play. The uniqueness of this Creative Intent and Divine Creative Flow project is still mesmerizing today, as are her continued teachings of the Toltec Tarot. For more information visit www.heatherashamara.com. Explore the FREE Downloads below of my most favorite ‘cards’ from this fun and enlightening project!
The introduction song, Hopeful Traveler was written by my beloved Luthier, and fellow bandmate of the mid-80’ through the mid-90’s, Bill Giebitz. We both play guitar on this version.
John Harvey appeared courtesy TopHat Recording Studios (Austin, TX) and played his groovy bouzouki on the “Devil” card. The sweet and mischievous Mary Podio of TopHat Studios assisted me with the sound effects on song intros.
